Our choir has around 20 members, often more for special occasions.  We are affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music.

The choir usually sings at the Sunday 9.15 am service. Choral Evensong is also offered occasionally during the year. As some members of the main choir are unable to attend all weddings and funerals, we are fortunate to have a separate wedding/funeral choir to support the worship on these occasions.

We enjoy a very wide range of musical styles, classical and modern, including contemporary worship songs and music from Iona and Taize.  We also take part in concerts and events in the church by offering popular and humorous songs.

We enjoy social get-togethers such as parties, barbecues and occasional days or meals out.

We are always looking for new members: sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.  Although useful, the ability to sight read is not essential. Choir practice for main services takes place on Fridays at 6.15 in the church, lasting about an hour. Why not come along one Friday?
